This fall, we are bringing together two Michigan makers for a weekend devoted to thoughtfully crafted coffee, spirits, and the people behind them.

Michigan, Poured is a three-day collaboration with Ethanology and Pops Coffee, featuring intimate, approachable experiences designed to share not only what each partner creates, but how—and why—they create it. From a hands-on cocktail class and guided coffee tasting to collaborative drinks served throughout the weekend, each experience connects to the next.

Join us for one event or follow the flavors throughout the entire weekend.

Friday, October 23

Ethanology Cocktail Class

5 PM | Courtyard Tent | Limited to 20 Guests | $45 per ticket Reserve via tastings@otisharborsprings.com

The weekend begins with an intimate cocktail-making class led by Nick from Ethanology.

Guests will create a seasonal cocktail featuring an Ethanology spirit while learning about the distillation process, ingredients, and techniques behind the drink. The experience is designed to offer more than a finished cocktail—it’s an opportunity to hear directly from the maker and develop the knowledge to recreate the drink at home.

Each guest will receive:

• A guided cocktail-making experience
• Two seasonal cocktail and all necessary ingredients
• A printed recipe card
• The opportunity to purchase the featured Ethanology spirit directly from the distiller

Following the class, guests are invited to continue the evening with dinner and drinks in the OTIS Lounge. The featured Ethanology cocktail will remain on the Lounge menu throughout the weekend.

Saturday, October 24

Pops Coffee Tasting & Café Takeover

8AM - 12PM

Saturday morning turns the focus to coffee as Pops takes over the OTIS Café.

During a guided tasting, guests will explore a selection of coffees, learn about Pops’ air-roasting process, and hear directly from the team about their approach to sourcing, roasting, and flavor. The experience will be relaxed, interactive, and welcoming to both devoted coffee drinkers and anyone curious to learn a little more about what’s in their cup.

Throughout Café service, guests can enjoy:

• Pops coffee featured on the Café menu
• Conversations with the Pops team
• Tasting notes and information about the featured coffees
• Bags of coffee available to purchase

Pops x Ethanology in the Lounge

3PM-9PM

On Saturday evening, the weekend’s two collaborations come together in the Fireplace Lounge.

Alongside the seasonal Ethanology cocktail introduced during Friday’s class, the Lounge will feature a collaborative Pops x Ethanology Espresso Martini made with products from both partners.

No class or tasting ticket is needed to experience the evening collaboration—simply join us in the Fireplace Lounge during regular service.

Sunday, October 25

Pops Café Takeover Continues

8AM - 12PM

The Pops Café takeover continues Sunday morning, offering hotel guests and community members another opportunity to experience the collaboration.

Pops coffee will be served throughout Café service, with featured retail bags available to purchase and enjoy at home.

One Connected Weekend

Michigan, Poured is designed as more than a series of individual events. The collaborations will carry throughout the Café and Fireplace Lounge, giving guests multiple ways to discover each maker across the weekend.

Attend Friday’s cocktail class, stop by Saturday’s coffee tasting, experience both partners through the collaborative Espresso Martini, or join us Sunday morning for one final cup. However you choose to take part, we hope you’ll leave with a greater appreciation for the people, processes, and craftsmanship behind every pour.
